Metal manufacturer commits to Trafford’s Premier Park in 10-year deal
Lip Hing Metal Manufacturing has acquired space at Premier Park in Greater Manchester.
The manufacturer snapped up a 15,640 sq ft industrial unit at the site, which forms part of the wider Trafford Park, on a 10-year lease.
The deal will see Lip Hing Metal Manufacturing use Unit 2 at Premier Park for the storage and distribution of metal components for fire protection systems.
Property consultant JLL’s Manchester-based industrial team secured the letting on behalf of Lothbury Property Trust. Real estate firm B8RE acted as joint agent.
Richard Johnson, industrial director at JLL’s Manchester office, said: “With over 1,400 businesses, Trafford Park is a one of the North West’s key hubs for the industrial and logistics sector.
“There is a shortage of supply of Grade-A industrial/warehouse space on Trafford Park with Premier Park being the only multi-let scheme to offer 24/7 on site security.”
He continued: “Lip Hing Metal Manufacturing needed a modern corporate looking building due to their expanding business and Premier Park was ideally suited to them.
“We were able to agree the lease within a matter of weeks in order to accommodate their urgent requirement.”
The company will operate alongside Premier Park occupiers such as the BBC, retailer The Fragrance Shop, domestic appliance firm Indesit and tea merchant The Brew Tea Company.
