Padiham Start-up Exceeds Turnover Expectations
A Lancashire-based start-up has smashed its seven-figure turnover target with the support from a local accountancy firm, Haworths.
Padiham headquartered, Flocontrol provides energy efficient heating and cooling solutions for commercial buildings. Operating at the high-end market, the firm’s clientele boasts numerous buildings across the London skyline and includes plenty of projects on major sporting arenas, including Tottenham Training Ground in London.
Flocontrol’s founder, Dennis Taylor, approached Haworths to support the launch of the business back in 2010. “When setting up Flocontrol, it was vital for me to get quality advice to make sure the business has a good start. Haworths’ team helped me to find and secure a bank which was a key to commence trading.
Haworths currently provide Flocontrol with monthly management accounts and completion of year end. “Naturally, every business requires accountancy support and expertise from the day it’s launched and a good accountant is vital throughout all stages of growth. Haworths’ team has taken reporting and compliance load off my mind but being able to call them anytime for advice has been the added value that’s meant the most.”
“Over the years I’ve received advice on day-to-day running of the business in terms of systems and various issues. I would recommend finding an accountancy partner to support you throughout your business journey,” added Dennis.
In step with continuous growth in the market and the support from Haworths Accountants, Dennis predicts that Flocontrol will experience double digit growth in the next few years.
Paul Spencer, director at Haworths Chartered Accountants, said: “The work we’ve done for Flocontrol is an excellent example of our ability to provide ongoing accountancy support and advice throughout all business cycles. We’re able to help businesses set-up as well as respond effectively to economic growth and expansion.
“It is always a pleasure to work with a business from the start and see them grow and flourish which in return supports the local economy.”
