Harrogate green tea startup signs new deal with online supermarket Ocado
T Plus Drinks, the Harrogate-based green tea startup, has secured its first listing with online supermarket Ocado.
The new deal will see T Plus Drinks’ vitamin infused healthy hot drinks available to customers across the UK via Ocado.
The UK’s first range of vitamin infused functional hot drinks, T Plus blend a range of Sri Lankan green tea with vitamins, functional herbs and natural fruit flavours to create a functional range set to target health conscious individuals.
Owned by husband and wife duo James and Jade Dawson, the business already has deals with major retailers such as Wholefoods and over 100 independent health stores, gyms and yoga studios. The range consists of 4 different flavours:
t + boost - A clean energy drink with t + boost, a blend of green tea, yerba mate, ginseng and 50% RDA in eight energy unlocking B vitamins, with natural raspberry and pomegranate flavourings.
t + detox - A blend of green tea, milk thistle, dandelion root and added C and B vitamins, all mixed with natural apple and blackcurrant flavourings.
t + immunitea - An immune boosting blend of green tea, echinacea, ginseng and 50% NRV Vitamin C per serving, in a orange and blueberry flavoured tea.
t + multea - A blend of green tea, rosemary, cardamom, spearmint and high in nine daily vitamins. This is all combined with a natural lemon & peach flavoured tea.
James, owner of t plus drinks, said: “We have designed an innovative new range of healthy hot drinks for the modern, health conscious consumer that wants something more from traditional tea and coffee.”
