Strong sales outlook for Durham housebuilder Persimmon
Durham housebuilder Persimmon Homes has reported sustained demand for its homes in the region after releasing a trading update for the third quarter.
As well as forward sales for 2017 already running 4% higher than at the same point last year, MD Neil Foster has welcomed a 19% increase in private sales compared to the same period last year,.
Neil said: “We are currently working on and opening further developments throughout County Durham and Sunderland.
“To avoid disappointment I would encourage people to register for new developments as soon as possible either online or via our marketing suites.
“The popular Government-funded Help to Buy Equity Loan is available until 2021, so you can find your new home with just a 5% deposit.
“As well as delivering much needed new homes into communities, every new development contributes to the local community as part of the planning agreement.
“This year the business has committed to provide in excess of 3.5 million on new developments at Newbottle, Chilton Moor, Ryhope, Bowburn, Ouston and Aykley Heads in Durham.”
Persimmon has 28 regional businesses across the UK and in 2017 a further office will be added in Nottingham.
