Case Study: BI Tools & Consulting Help Pharma Biz Consolidate and Analyze Data

A leading publicly listed Pharmaceutical business in India selected ElegantJ BI to consolidate data and support business intelligence integration and analysis across all of its locations, with accurate, timely reporting, across all functional areas. The client wished to build multidimensional information architecture for data extraction, data mining and ad hoc reporting and satisfy statutory regulations and define and monitor KPIs for performance management, and to reduce the existing IT department workload.

The ElegantJ BI team developed a proof of concept, and helped the client team define functional areas, identify and implement KPIs and integrate the ElegantJ BI solution with the central data warehouse with configured multi-dimensional cubes and analytical objects. The ElegantJ BI automated delivery and publishing agent module was used to deliver critical reports and objects via email. The ElegantJ BI team delivered a three-day workshop on BI concepts, best practices, and system administration as well as end user training for power users. These power users trained the balance of the end user population within the organization. The client IT team performed most of the implementation tasks in less than ten weeks.
