Liverpool’s Downing to expand Old Hall Street portfolio with new office space
Property developer and investor Downing is increasing its office portfolio at No.1 Old Hall Street with the launch of 5,000 sq ft of new space in time for Christmas.
Construction work is now underway on 10 new suites ranging from 140 sq ft to 1,100 sq ft, suitable for between one and 20 people.
Each of the suites will be private but housed within clusters sharing a kitchen facility.
Liverpool-headquartered Downing will manage the building in-house.
The firm’s head of property management, John Clegg, said of the expansion: “We’re delighted to be bringing this new suite of flexi offices to market in Liverpool.
“No.1 Old Hall Street is one of the most prestigious addresses in the city and our flexi offices give smaller companies the chance to be based in the heart of Liverpool’s commercial centre, without paying crippling rents and service charges.”
He continued: “This part of our portfolio allows us to offer our customers the flexibility a modern business needs, whatever its size.
“These new suites will be amongst Downing’s highest quality flexi-offices to date and we know there is strong appetite for this offering.”
Downing’s plans for No.1 Old Hall Street follow news of its expansion in London with a new tower development and a £46m scheme in Newcastle.
