Webhelp to create 170 jobs in Rotherham
Business process outsourcing firm Webhelp is about to embark on a new recruitment drive to bolster its Dearne Valley team.
The company confirmed plans to create 170 jobs at its facility in Manvers, Rotherham, by the end of the year.
In a post on its website, Webhelp said the demand is for full-time customer service and sales advisors to support existing clients.
David Turner, Webhelp UK’s chief executive, said: “This is a fantastic time to become part of a growing business in an exciting industry that is focussing on new technology and the future of customer experience.
“Our business growth shows no signs of slowing down. This has been a terrific period for Webhelp.”
The company has 35k employees across 90 sites in 26 countries.
Over the last 24 months, Webhelp has acquired nine businesses including, most recently, social media moderation firm Netino.
The period has also seen Webhelp snap up a number of national and international clients, including consumer goods giant Unilever and e-commerce firm Shop Direct.
