Lancashire entrepreneurs secure supermarket listing for honey-infused water brand Just Bee
The Lancashire food entrepreneurs behind fruit-flavoured springwater brand Just Bee have secured a listing with Northern retailer Booths.
Friends and business partners Joe Harper and Andy Sugden, creators of Just Bee, will now see their honey-infused drink range stocked across 15 Booths stores.
The duo launched the brand in 2015 while sitting in Joe’s dad’s back garden, where the family’s bee hives inspired them to turn their love of the fuzzy insect into a business.
Today, Just Bee uses honey as a natural sweetener and contain no refined sugars or artificial sweeteners.
Pete Newton, drinks buyer at Booths, said: “The Just Bee range is refreshing, hydrating, and very low in sugar, and we’re confident our Booths shoppers will enjoy them.
“10% of the Just Bee profits are also donated to British bee charities which is fantastic.”
Commenting on the deal, Joe said: “As a family of beekeepers from Lancashire, we are absolutely delighted that we are now working with Booths.
“It’s been one of our goals to be stocked there, and we will be running a series of sampling sessions in November and January for anyone yet to try Just Bee.”
