Recruitment firm Orchard hails new era with Salford Quays move
Creative industries recruitment company Orchard has relocated its team to a new office in Salford Quays on the eve of its 25th year in business.
The company moved its staff from Furness House in Salford, where it was based for more than 20 years, to Quay Plaza.
Orchard said the ongoing investment into the area, which includes MediaCityUK’s billion-pound expansion plan, “cemented” its decision to move to the development.
Orchard MD Mike Carter said: “Our office move has given us a great opportunity to reflect on the past 24 years and look to the next.
“As the creative industries continue to evolve, we wanted to place our team at the heart of the sector. Our new office space provides the perfect setting for us to continue evolving alongside our client base.”
Recruitment sector specialist HRC Law, which also acts as Orchard’s employment law advisor, assisted with the move.
Mike continued: “We’ve worked with HRC Law previously and the team’s appreciation of our business and sector makes a huge difference.
“Moving was a nervous time for us, having been settled in the same office for such a long time. Helen and her team understood this, leading us through the process comfortably.”
