Be Wiser Ducati continues into 2017
The Be Wiser Insurance Owl is set for a high speed ride again next year after the company renewed its sponsorship of the 2016 MCE Insurance British Superbike Champions - the PBM managed Ducati Race Team.
Be Wiser’s marketing director Andrew Dunkerley said the 2016 season had been fantastic with Be Wiser Ducati Race Team rider Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne winning the driver’s championship and PBM becoming the most successful team ever in BSB.
“It was great to be involved with such a successful, enthusiastic and professional team and we’re delighted to be back on board for 2017,” said Andrew. “Our first year working with the team was thrilling and winning the championship certainly helped promote our name to a wider audience.”
He said the professionalism of the team and future plans made the decision to renew the sponsorship an easy one. “Shakey is back on board with a two year deal and we’re already looking forward to a cracking new season.”
Paul Bird, team owner said, “Paul Bird Motorsport has had a fantastic first year together with Be Wiser Insurance as our title sponsor and we are extremely grateful for its continued support for the 2017 season.
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank Be Wiser, and we look forward to working with the company to strengthen our partnership and enjoy another exciting and rewarding season.”
