Global workspace firm Regus reveals Heathrow expansion plans

International office space provider Regus has revealed plans to expand its presence at Heathrow Airport with two additional work hubs.

The new Regus Express facilities will be located within Terminals 2 and 3, offering a combined 7,100 sq ft of space.

The Terminal 2 hub will occupy over 2,100 sq ft and include nine meeting rooms of various sizes, in addition to a drop-in business lounge providing seating, WiFi and complimentary refreshments.

The 5,000 sq ft Regus Express facility at Terminal 3, meanwhile, will be located airside and house 10 meeting rooms and a business lounge.

Regus’ UK CEO, Richard Morris, said: “The growing Regus Express network is making business travel much more productive for our customers across the globe and we’re delighted to announce that we will soon be extending it further at the UK’s hub airport.

“Our strategy is to continually expand our global network and diversify the type of location we offer, making it even more convenient for our members to work flexibly and productively, when and where it suits them.”

The new space will complement the company’s existing centre at Terminal 5, which launched in 2014.

Stephen Wilkinson, Heathrow’s property director, commented: “We are delighted to welcome these new Regus Express business lounges in T2 and T3.

“They will complement the existing Regus lounge in T5, which has been a great success.”

He continued: “Regus are an internationally recognised workspace provider and the Heathrow lounges provide great facilities for our passengers who often need to send a few last minute emails or host a meeting before jetting off.”

The expansion at Heathrow follows the rollout of the Regus Express workspace concept at airports, railway stations and motorway service stations across the UK, including Gatwick Airport and Birmingham Airport.
