Farringdon office becomes yet another London building to receive WiredScore's top rating
AshbyCapital’s 200 Aldersgate building has become the latest London property to receive WiredScore’s Platinum rating in recognition of its connectivity and digital infrastructure.
The building, which the property investors acquired in 2013, was recognised for its high-speed wireline fibre connectivity, its secure basement-level comms rooms and its two separate comms intake locations.
Marquee London properties including The Shard and the new Here East innovation centre have all been recent recipients of a Wired Certified Platinum rating, following the programme’s launch by former Mayor Boris Johnson in October 2015.
It also becomes the second AshbyCapital building to receive the highest connectivity rating recently, following on from the firm’s refurbished The Colmore Building in Birmingham, which became the first property in the city to receive the platinum recognition.
Peter Ferrari, Chief Executive of AshbyCapital, commented: “To receive a second Platinum WiredScore rating amongst our portfolio of office buildings highlights our commitment to providing occupiers with the best possible experience now and in the future.
“With companies increasingly working across borders and time zones and doing more business online, fast and reliable connections are more vital than ever.”
William Newton, EMEA Director, WiredScore, added: “AshbyCapital continues to demonstrate its dedication to meeting the connectivity requirements of its office building occupiers and we are thrilled to be able to present them with a second Wired Certified Platinum rating, after receiving their first Wired Certification for The Colmore Building in Birmingham.”
