The Yorkshire Meatball Co. rolls into Morrisons stores across the UK
Morrisons has been announced as the latest supermarket to stock The Yorkshire Meatball Co.’s meatball range, and the first to offer the products in the South and South-East of the country.
Following on from agreeing deals to sell its retail products in Tesco and ASDA, The Yorkshire Meatball Co. will now be stocked in 141 Morrisons stores across the North, South East, and in a selection of stores in Central and Greater London.
Available in selected Morrisons stores are now the company’s Yorkshire Balls, a beef and pork meatball, lightly seasoned with a little onion, garlic, herbs, salt and pepper; and its Hot Balls, a spicy Beef and Pork meatball with chili pepper.
David and Gareth Atkinson, owners of The Yorkshire Meatball Co., commented: “We’re really looking forward to seeing our Balls on the shelves in Morrisons stores across the UK.
“Since March 2014, we’ve been on a mission to lead the fight against average, tasteless meatballs, and our latest launch takes us one step closer to redefining the meatball as an exciting option for today’s cook-at-home foodies, and increasing their appeal as an option for a wholesome family meal.
“After all, two companies that were both born and bred in Yorkshire working in partnership, definitely sounds like a recipe for success to us.”
