Hartlepool’s Property Webmasters celebrates 10th year in business with recruitment drive
Web design company Property Webmasters is celebrating 10 years in business with plans to recruit and relocate.
The Hartlepool-based firm, which offers design, development and maintenance services for property portals and estate agent websites, will now take on three new employees with the possibility of additional hires later this year.
Property Webmasters has also revealed plans to purchase its own premises in the North East, with founder Jamie Arthur’s home town of Hartlepool named as the preferred location.
Jamie said: “It is testament to the hard work and commitment of myself and the team that the business has reached its 10th birthday.
“When I look back over the last decade, it is amazing to see how the company has grown, both in terms of clients and of staff.”
He added: “We are fortunate enough to work with thousands of estate agents globally helping them to build professional websites which generate inquiries, and we have seen some real successes.”
Established in 2006, the company has grown into a seven-strong team comprising graphic designers, web developers, a project manager and a salesperson.
Today, 80% of Property Webmasters’ customers are located outside the UK, across the US, Europe, Australia, Asia, Caribbean, Middle East and elsewhere.
Just recently, the firm delivered a makeover of a property portal site in Thailand that went on to be sold for $11m.
Speaking further, Jamie said: “We’re a talented, hard-working team and we intend to keep pushing forward to achieve the ambitious targets I’ve put in place for 2017.
“We are recruiting for three new staff members currently, an account manager, digital marketer and a salesperson, with the aim of boosting the team further later in the year.”
He continued: “We are also looking to buy our own premises which will give us more space to expand, but we are planning to stay in Hartlepool. I was born and raised in Hartlepool. It’s good to do something positive in your home town.”
Property Webmasters is now aiming to have 1,000 customers subscribed by 2022.
