Marketing firms wrap up merger to form new Yorkshire brand consultancy
Branding specialist The Wrapped Agency has merged with York-based design firm Space Creative to form a 15-strong team of creative consultants.
The new company will be based in Escrick, York, with additional offices on London’s Southbank and a planned office in Leeds.
Wrapped, which will be led by managing director Kate Eady, is set to focus on four core industry sectors – healthcare, retail, property and tourism.
The merger sees Wrapped also take on a new non-exec director, former chief executive of Costcutter Nick Ivel, and a new finance director, Cassie Ivel, formerly of KPMG.
Martin Holmes will oversee the digital offer at Wrapped, while Rachel Clark, previously a brand and PR at Red Bull and Savills, will continue to lead the PR and social media division.
Kate Eady commented: “We always set out to grow Wrapped to a sizeable agency and since its launch just over a year ago, it’s gone from strength to strength.
“Space Creative has been in business for over 20 years and the merger gives us a team of skilled web developers, designers and marketers to add to Wrapped’s director-led client offer.”
Nick Ivel added: “We foresee the Wrapped business growing organically with several new client wins in the pipeline.
“We have major plans for Wrapped in the coming years and we’re looking forward to breaking some barriers when it comes to agency growth.”
Wrapped’s current clients include William’s Den, the £3m visitor attraction opening this Spring in East Yorkshire.
