The Market Creative retains Plumbase account
Following a competitive two-way pitch, Plumbase has reappointed The Market Creative for a retained marketing brief.
The Market Creative has worked with Plumbase for five years as part its contract with Grafton Merchanting GB (GMGB), which also encompasses the Buildbase, Hirebase and Electricbase brands.
As well as helping develop promotional campaigns and a comprehensive CRM programme, the marketing agency has worked as a strategic partner to the brands under the GMGB umbrella throughout this time.
The new brief will see The Market Creative develop a new distinctive brand identity and strategy for Plumbase to establish differentiation in the plumbing and heating market.
Sue Benson, Managing Director at The Market Creative said: “It’s fantastic to be working with Plumbase on an exciting new brief, which is testament to our long-established relationship. We’ll be looking to challenge the competition by developing a distinctive positioning that’s based around everything that is great about the merchant.”
Paul Bullivant, Marketing Director, Plumbase said: “The Market Creative has shown us that they have the expertise to support us in this new phase of the business, that will see us stand more independently from the other brands in the group. We want plumbing and heating engineers to know that we have everything they need from product range and availability to advice and help in branch.”
