Builders Bowmer & Kirkland move into new Manchester base
Bowmer & Kirkland is establishing a new base in Manchester.
The construction firm signed a 10-year deal with real estate investor MCR Property Group for 5,652 sq ft of space at Altitude, a three-storey Grade A office building on Atlas Business Park.
Bowmer & Kirkland’s commercial director for the North West, Paul Sykes, said the move follows significant growth in the region during the last two years.
That growth, he said, looks set to continue in the short to medium term, adding: “Altitude is ideally placed for our business with easy access to both Manchester, Liverpool and the surrounding areas and provides ample parking provision for our staff and visitors.”
The company has relocated from Christie Fields.
Cushman & Wakefield is a joint agent on the scheme alongside Canning O’Neill.
Rob Prescott, a senior surveyor at Cushman & Wakefield, commented: “We are pleased to have completed this deal to Bowmer & Kirkland which is testament to the quality of the building.
“Altitude offers high quality refurbished office space with an unrivalled car parking ratio in close proximity to public transport and the added bonus of Enterprise Zone Status.”
He added: “The letting team has a number of interested parties in the remaining space and we hope to secure more lettings in the near future.”
