Canadian chemicals manufacturer targets Northern growth with new Trafford base
An international manufacturer and wholesaler of chemical products is establishing a new base at Trafford Park.
M.G. Chemicals will house its European sales team at Unit 26 on Ashburton Park, Wheel Forge Way.
The deal, brokered by real estate advisory firm Colliers International, saw the Canadian company sign up for 5,188 sq ft on a five-year lease.
M.G. Chemicals creates products for the electronics industry and operates from headquarters in Surrey, British Columbia, with a major manufacturing facility in Ontario.
Unit 26, which was Ashburton Park’s last available premises, comprises loading and parking areas, in addition to a 1,565 sq ft mezzanine area.
Laura Wilbourn, a surveyor for industrial and logistics at Colliers’ Manchester office, secured the deal.
She said: ““The letting to M.G Chemicals proves the enduring popularity of Trafford Park as a strategically positioned location offering easy access to the regional motorway system and ongoing connectivity to the wider North and destinations further afield.”
