Kings Lynn business shoots up the rankings

A Kings Lynn business is celebrating a meteoric rise after being named in the top ten Volkswagen retailers for 2016.

Kings Lynn Volkswagen, based on Bergen Way, was recognised by Volkswagen UK for its high levels of customer satisfaction on sales, service, parts and eight other performance measures, finishing 9th out of 189 sites nationwide in the One Business Awards.

The result marks an impressive improvement for the business, climbing 72 places, after placing 81st in last year’s awards.

Volkswagen monitors every retailer to ensure that all areas of the business are performing according to Volkswagen standards and targets. The One Business Awards then identify the top 25 retailers in the UK.

Austin Seales, Brand Manager for Kings Lynn Volkswagen, said: “I’m delighted the business has achieved such a high position in the country, taking it’s place amongst the very best Volkswagen dealerships.

“Over the last two years we have consistently risen in the rankings and we’re thrilled to have experienced such a big leap this year.

“Internationally, Volkswagen is now the best-selling automotive manufacturer, but we are still aware that in the current economic climate, it is vital for businesses to ensure consumers receive the very best customer service and this official recognition is testament to the hard work and passion from all of my team at Kings Lynn Volkswagen.

The annual One Business Awards were presented by Rod McLeod and Kevin Rendell, Head of Sales Operations and Aftersales for Volkswagen UK respectively at a ceremony held at the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya, in Barcelona over the weekend of 27th January.

Other local businesses from the Marriott Motor Group include Bury St Edmunds Volkswagen and Ipswich Volkswagen, finishing 12th and 17th respectively.
