Manchester pensions firm appointed by Damartex UK Limited Pension Scheme
Mitchell Consulting Actuaries Limited, the independent Manchester-based corporate pensions and actuarial firm, has been appointed to provide actuarial, consulting and administration services to the Trustees of the Damartex UK Limited Pension Scheme.
Based in Bingley, West Yorkshire, Damartex (more commonly known by their shortened trading name, Damart) are a French owned clothing retailer, primarily trading through the channels of both online (www.damart.co.uk) and mail order catalogue sales.
Linda Montgomery, Chair of the Damartex Trustees, commented: “We were extremely impressed with the track record, enthusiasm and expertise demonstrated by Mitchell Consulting during our selection process. We feel that their approach is an excellent fit for a scheme of our size and maturity, and we are looking forward to working with our new Scheme Actuary, Nigel Jones, and his team.”
Mitchell Consulting, established in 1998, specialises in the area of corporate pensions. The company is privately owned, has around 40 staff, is wholly independent, and works with over 100 clients throughout the UK. The assets of the schemes advised upon range from £1m to over £1bn.
