Business network Downtown announces London office opening
Enterprise network Downtown in Business has given its presence in the South a boost.
The Liverpool-headquartered company is opening a new office in London as part of its wider expansion plans.
However, the firm said the move will not include the launch of a business network in the capital.
According to chief executive Frank McKenna, Downtown’s new space will enable it to organise events with London-based decision makers and entrepreneurs.
The network’s new events programme will be open to existing members in the region, as Downtown continues to connect the London business community with its membership.
Frank said: “It is an exciting move for us, and one that has been made possible through our strong partnership with Liverpool Vision.
“We will be taking advantage of the facilities they have secured at Finsbury Square, and I am sure that this will provide us with the opportunity of enhancing our service to existing and future Downtown members.”
Downtown in Business now operates in Liverpool, Manchester, Lancashire, Leeds, Birmingham and London.
