IT startup looks to double turnover with NETPark move
IT services provider Professional Network Technology Solutions (PNTS) has moved to new premises at North East Technology Park (NETPark).
Paul Ashley and Mark Pearson, who began the business in 2015, say that moving to an incubator space at the park will help to facilitate the next stage in the firm’s growth.
PNTS’ services range from IT design, installation and maintenance to off-site support services to small organisations. After recording £150k in turnover in its first trading year, the company expects the figure to double to £300k this year.
NETPark, which is undergoing ambitious expansion plans, is run by Business Durham, the economic development company for County Durham working on behalf of Durham County Council.
Paul said: “Since launching, I’m delighted to say that we have enjoyed steady growth, working with a range of clients across the manufacturing, science and technology sectors.
“Being situated at NETPark gives us the perfect base from which to continue to provide clients with the high level of service and expertise they’ve come to expect from us and manage our continued success and growth plans.
“The office is modern and well serviced and reflects the type of company we are. It is also a great place to work so I’m confident it will help as we look to recruit more IT professionals in the very near future.
“As NETPark continues with its expansion plans there will be an opportunity for us to move into larger offices and make further appointments. “
Simon Goon, managing director of Business Durham, added: “We’re delighted PNTS has relocated to NETPark and has recognised that it’s a fantastic place to grow a business among some of the world’s most innovative companies.
“We look forward to offering a high level of support and flexibility as the business scales up and I’m sure PNTS will thrive being surrounded by so many like-minded businesses.”
