£1m North Shields activity concept to bring 100 new jobs to the region
Xtreme Bounce, a new activity centre concept, will be opening in North Shields this May, creating around 100 jobs for the area.
Bringing trampolining, Ninja Warrior-style obstacle courses, soft play and sports under one roof, the £1m venue aims to become a community hub for sports and leisure when it opens at Royal Quays.
Set in an air-locked dome across 26,000 sq.ft.,the concept is born from Bounce Revolution launched in Derby in 2016.
Of the new jobs, roles will range from management and operations to marketing and PR, with opportunities for school leavers in abundance - according to the company.
Jason Jennings, Xtreme Bounce director, said: “After speaking to Peter Everest, Managing Director of WD LTD that owns Royal Quays Outlet Centre, it was an easy decision deciding where we would put our first arena.
“We loved the area and the energy of the people, so it was a no-brainer. Royal Quays is the perfect partner for us and we can’t wait to get the doors open!”
