Clarke Willmott celebrates newly qualified solicitors
Law firm Clarke Willmott LLP is celebrating the successful development of three of its trainees to fully qualified solicitors.
Rebecca White, Moema Rosa and Josh Roberts have all completed training with the firm and will now become fully-fledged members of their respective teams.
Rebecca White joined Clarke Willmott in 2013 as a paralegal in the property litigation department. Having undertaken training in that sector, as well as in construction and commercial property teams, she will now join the property litigation team under partners Bonnie Martin and Kary Withers. Rebecca’s role will include advising on commercial landlord and tenant litigation.
Moema Rosa also joined the firm in 2013 and has undertaken training with the financial services litigation, insolvency, corporate and private capital teams. Originally from France, Moema came to England five years ago to qualify as a UK solicitor, after studying law in France and abroad. She will join the insolvency team under Martin Askew.
Josh Roberts started at Clarke Willmott in January 2015 within the construction department. He undertook training with the contentious construction, insolvency and commercial property teams. Returning to the contentious construction team, Josh will work under Peter O’Brien.
Further promotions have also been made in the construction team, with two paralegals, Barnaby Sandy and Carys Sherwood, moving into trainee roles.
Clarke Willmott CEO, Stephen Rosser, said: “The development of our people is something we are committed to as a firm. In 2012 we introduced our policy of recruiting exclusively from our paralegals and the clear career progression path offered to staff is proving successful in all areas of our business.
“Congratulations to all of our newly qualified solicitors and our trainees, I’m certain their skills and experience will help deliver excellent services to our clients.”
Clarke Willmott LLP is a national law firm with seven offices across the country, including Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, London, Manchester, Southampton and Taunton.
