Frank Warren, who has managed ‘Prince’ Naseem Hamed, Ricky Hatton, Amir Khan, Dereck Chisora and a number of other successful British boxers, commented: “Following our announcement that our major events are now going to be shown live on BT Sport we have had many approaches from leading retail brands.
“Having met the guys from Footasylum, it is clear that they share our Vision and recognise our respective audiences mirror each other. Footasylum have some exciting plans for our relationship and we look forward to delivering World class shows with them.”
Footasylum’s first sponsored boxing event will take place this Saturday (April 8) at Manchester Arena, during which Olympic gold medalist Nicola Adams OBE make her professional debut.
