Royal College of Physicians appoints CBRE on phase two of Northern HQ project
The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) has appointed CBRE to deliver its new Northern HQ.
Under the contract, the real estate advisory firm will manage the fit-out of the project’s second phase, which will see the construction and fit-out of the long-term location for RCP North within Liverpool’s £1bn Knowledge Quarter development.
Phase one of the scheme comprised a temporary examination centre and office suite.
The new mandate from the RCP follows CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions arm being appointed to provide a total FM contract for RCP, including mechanical and electrical services, event logistics, security and cleaning.
CBRE executive director Emma Davies said: “We are delighted to have been appointed on this prestigious project.
“With our local knowledge and comprehensive range of services, we look forward to providing a seamless project delivery and FM service in close collaboration with the client.”
The RCP founded by a Royal Charter from King Henry VIII in 1518.
The organisation’s new Liverpool base will serve as a sister site to its current HQ in Regents Park, London.
