Orion Homes appoint new Technical Manager
Housebuilder Orion Homes has strengthened its development team with the appointment of Candy Day as technical manager.
Previously in a similar position at Castleford-based Strategic Team Group, Candy has also worked for three other housebuilders and will bring outstanding expertise to her new role working on Orion Homes’ wide-ranging portfolio of property designs. She will also be playing an important part in the design and development of future sites with responsibility for implementing planning and building regulations.
Candy said: “Orion Homes are renowned for the quality of their design and I’m excited to be joining their dynamic team. The company has a policy of continually reviewing the design, layouts and specifications of its portfolio so that every new development keeps pace with an ever-evolving market. I’m looking forward to being part of this process.”
Orion Homes has grown from modest beginnings to become one of Yorkshire’s largest privately owned house-builders. Orion Developments Ltd was founded by current Chairman Tim Lumb in 1978 and a year later began trading as Orion Homes. Orion Homes are currently building a wide variety of highly specified homes Horbury, Wrenthorpe and Wyke
