CBRE announces sale of two South Yorkshire industrial properties for £6.46m
CBRE Leeds has announced the sale of two South Yorkshire industrial properties, totalling 281,356 sq ft for £6.46m.
Acting on behalf of Kingspan and Stainton, the Capital Markets team at CBRE Leeds sold One 51 ES (Plastics) UK Limited property on Barbot Industrial Estate, Rotherham, for £2.8m and J38 in Barnsley, which was purchased for £3.66m.
The premises at Barbot Industrial Estate was sold for Kingspan to a private investor. The sale includes three detached industrial warehouse units with a large yard for extended storage and a detached office totalling 65,930 sq.ft.
Situated just one mile north of Rotherham town centre within the Barbot Industrial Estate, the premises is fully let to One 51 ES (Plastics) UK Limited, trading as MGB Plastics, with a guarantee from One51 plc, on an FRI lease expiring 31st August 2025 with approximately 9.25 years unexpired.

J38 Barnsley was sold for Stainton at £3.66m to South Street Capital. The site is a freehold, 16-acre industrial estate comprising workshop, industrial warehouse accommodation and yard storage.
The Barnsley site is situated approximately 1 mile south of Junction 38 of the M1 motorway, located in Darton, which is 4 miles from Barnsley. It includes a range of industrial units from 1,670 sq.ft to 52,068 sq.ft, totaling 215,426 sq.ft.
