Truck Loads of Fun at Manchester Fort Specsavers
Manchester Fort Specsavers hosted a family fun day on Saturday 8 April to celebrate the launch of its brand new JCB range of kids’ glasses.
Specsavers and JCB launched the new range of frames, designed for children with a passion for diggers, in stores nationwide on Wednesday 5 April, and to celebrate the Manchester Fort store planned a jam-packed day.
As well as JCB goody bags and a face painter on hand, turning everyone into a mean machine for a day, there was will also be a JCB Backhoe Loader parked just outside the store in Manchester Fort Retail Park. Children and families took a selfie in front of the iconic machine as part of a special competition to win an amazing JCB prize.
The customer judged to have taken the best selfie will win a ride on the digger, some JCB branded overalls and a hat, as well as four tickets to Gulliver’s Matlock in Bath, which has its very own JCB Zone.
Retail director of the Manchester Fort store, Peter Dodd, says; ‘We’re really pleased that the official launch of these fun new frames is taking place here at our store. Lots of kids are mad about diggers, so it was no surprise to see plenty of happy faces as everyone came to visit our special attraction.’
He continues; ‘This event was a great way for us to get to know local families and parents in the area while they also had a fun day out.’
