4700 sq ft Worklife Showroom opens at Manchester’s Neo building
Office interiors firm The Penketh Group has opened its new Worklife Showroom at the Neo building in Manchester.
The company transformed the entire eighth floor at Bruntwood’s Charlotte Street office development to showcase new ideas in workplace design, furniture trends and technology for improved collaboration and flexible working.
In addition to offering insights into office furniture and spaces from US-based Steelcase, The Penketh Group’s 4,700 sq ft Neo base will display work by manufacturers such as BuzziSpace, Naughtone, Frovi and Orangebox.
Mark Penketh, managing director at The Penketh Group, said: “We’re delighted to open Manchester’s first Worklife Showroom and in such an iconic building as Neo with its 360-degree panoramic views.
“The different settings we have put together illustrate all the different types of workspaces that are suited to the way people work today.”
He added: “We show how the right mix of products can have a positive effect on people’s wellbeing, engagement and productivity.”
Interiors company Ardmac delivered the fit-out of the Worklife Showroom.
John Prendergast, Ardmac’s regional director, commented: “This was an exciting opportunity to partner with a company that shares Ardmac’s vision of building exceptional working environments that achieve the best possible levels of employee productivity and engagement for clients.”
Neo was created with designs from Bridge Architects through the £8m redevelopment of the former 12-storey Bank House building.
