Casting agency Red 13 to take on new actors following MediaCityUK move
Two creatives in Greater Manchester have brought their casting agency business to MediaCityUK.
Lauren Shippey and Freddie Bolt, the founders of Red 13 Management, already represent more than 200 young performers.
Now operating from the Orega serviced offices in Blue Tower, the duo are looking to expand their books by taking on new actors seeking roles in TV programmes, films, commercials and theatre productions.
Lauren and Freddie have run 13 performing arts schools across in Manchester and Leeds since 2013 with the help of Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd, who plays David Platt in the ITV soap.
Freddie commented: “Our performing arts schools have been really popular, and a talent management company seemed like the natural next step for offering our students a way into the industry.
“MediaCityUK is the ideal location for our casting agency, as we already have a close working relationship with casting directors and producers at ITV, the BBC and CBBC who are based here, so this gives us great access to them, as well as putting our students at the centre of the industry.”
