Dewsbury residential opportunity comprising 169 new homes comes to market
A residential opportunity with planning permission for up to 169 houses in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, is coming to the market.
Located in the Thornhill Lees district, the 15.1-acre brownfield site is situated 1.5 miles south of Dewsbury’s town centre, close to transport links and local schools.
The proposed residential development features a mixture of house styles in a canal side setting. The site is located for commuting to Leeds and Bradford, and is within easy reach of the M1and M62 motorways.
GVA, the real estate adviser, has been appointed to market the residential opportunity.
Alex Sweetman, director at GVA Yorkshire, said: “We are pleased to be instructed to market this site. Unique residential opportunities like this don’t come on the market very often.
“We expect to receive significant levels of interest as the site has a huge amount of potential.
“It lies adjacent to an established housing estate with surrounding amenity and related infrastructure, including the now fully-sold Calder View scheme recently undertaken by Miller Homes.”
