Bradford logistics firm signs three-year warehousing deal with Lansinoh Laboratories
Expect Distribution, the Bradford-based logistics company, has signed a three-year warehousing and distribution contract with Lansinoh Laboratories.
Founded in the US 35 years ago, Lansinoh is a global supplier of breastfeeding products. The company’s UK division is based in Leeds.
Under the new deal, Expect will take delivery of shipments, store them in its warehouse facility at Premier Point, Bradford, pick and distribute them.
Expect will warehouse approximately up to 1000 pallets of Lansinoh products, at any one time.
Neil Rushworth, managing director of Expect Distribution, said: “We pride ourselves on building good relationships with customers and we have done this over time with Lansinoh.
“Our service to them is completely bespoke. We specialise in getting to know our clients’ businesses and catering to their needs and this is a key requirement when dealing with a customer such as Lansinoh.
“The products are medical-related so need to be stored in a good environment. Our expertise in dealing with similar medical product gives Lansinoh that extra peace of mind that they have the right partner.”
This new contract win for Expect comes two months after it announced the expansion of its warehousing capability at Premier Point, increasing capacity by 20,000 sq ft as part of a £1.75m growth plan.
David Storey, operations manager of Lansinoh Laboratories, added: “Trust is paramount in our industry and Expect tick all the boxes for us.
“They understand how we work and the specific requirements of some of our customers. For example, clients such as Mothercare and Amazon require our products to be labelled specifically for them.
“Expect do this alongside, warehousing and distribution and it’s their familiarity with this process that gives us the confidence in them to deliver.”
