Sale completed of former Westfield Health HQ in Sheffield city centre
The Sheffield city centre property, Westfield House, has been sold to Manchester-based development company MCR Property Group.
Acting on behalf of Westfield Health, commercial property agents, Knight Frank, finalised the sale of all three buildings on the site: the old Westfield House at 87 Division Street, Rockingham Court, and the attached retail units at 89 – 93 Division Street.
The 48,650 sq ft site is located close to the University of Sheffield and Devonshire Green, fronting onto Division Street and Rockingham Street.
MCR has recently purchased a number of other buildings in the Yorkshire region.
Westfield Health held its headquarters at 87 Division Street since 1973, but relocated to Milton House on Charter Row in August 2016, when the building was renamed Westfield House.
The eight-storey Westfield House features a new Customer Hub, a roof terrace with 360 degree views overlooking the city, and business incubator spaces to support the growth of health and wellbeing startups.
Graham Moore, Westfield Health Chairman, said: “We’re pleased to confirm that, after a thorough process conducted by our Property Steering Group, a sale has been finalised to the MCR Property Group.
“We’re now fully settled into our new home on Charter Row and this move has been an important milestone as we continue to grow and branch out into emerging markets in health, wellbeing and care.”
