Crafter’s Companion helps families celebrate Father’s Day
NORTH-EAST based craft company, Crafter’s Companion, will be helping children surprise their dads this Father’s Day with a selection of special activities at its Newton Aycliffe store.
As part of its events calendar Crafter’s Companion will be welcoming children to the store for kids’ crafting sessions and helping them to create unique presents.
On June 17 there will be a busy schedule of Father’s Day card ‘make and take’ sessions, using the company’s own crafting for men dies, as well as espresso cup decorating classes. The store will also be running a free coffee and cupcake giveaway for all dads and grandads.
Amy Rodger, store manager, said: “Father’s Day is just around the corner and this year we wanted to give our visitors the chance to make their dads something extra special.
“We always have a lot of interest in the kids’ crafting sessions that we run and in the spirit of Father’s Day we’ve tried to create classes that the family can get involved in together. We hope everyone will come along and join in the fun.”
