Nisbets opens Newcastle store
Nisbets Plc, suppliers of catering equipment to commercial kitchens, has acquired a 17,400 sq ft unit on Scotswood Road, close to Newcastle City Centre. Established in 1983 the Bristol-based company has added the new Newcastle store, which is now open and trading, to its 25 stores nationwide.
Spencer Pankow, Retail Property manager at Nisbets comments: “We have been looking for a Newcastle store and the property at Scotswood Road is perfect in providing the desired mix of prominence and accessibility for our customers.”
Mark Proudlock, partner at Knight Frank who acted on behalf of lighting retailer Litecraft adds: “Due to its increasing online sales our client’s aim was to reduce its retail floor area which we have successfully achieved, at the same time securing a tenant who will further drive footfall in this popular trade destination.’
Nisbets Pls was represented by Edinburgh-based agent Eric Young & Co.
