Two businesses secure space at Ringway Trading Estate near Manchester Airport
Ringway Trading Estate near Manchester Airport is now fully occupied after welcoming two new businesses.
Online retailer EFE Electronic Commerce UK Ltd and car rental firm ER Travel Services Ltd signed up for 5,250 sq ft and 12,203 sq ft respectively.
The newcomers joined moving company Nippon Express, airport support-services provider TCR UK, vehicle hire firm Arnold Clarke and a number of other businesses at the scheme.
Built in the 1980s, Ringway Trading Estate is located on Shadowmoss Road and comprises 150,039 sq ft across 13 refurbished units.
The industrial team at property advisory firm JLL let the units on behalf of the scheme’s landlord, CBRE Global Investors.
JLL surveyor Robert Kos commented: “Ringway Trading Estate is one of the closest industrial schemes to Manchester Airport.
“With the site now fully occupied, it shows the strength in demand for airport-linked space.”
He added: “Schemes like this will also benefit from the nearby development of Airport City over the next few years, bringing £650m worth of investment into the area.”
JLL and CBRE are the trading estate’s joint agents.
