The Roof Truss Company has taken a unit at Seacroft Trade Park
An industrial park in Leeds has welcomed one of its first new tenants following a six-figure refurbishment effort by the owners.
The Roof Truss Company, which designs, manufactures and fits trussed rafters and floor joists for houses, will join the likes of Screwfix and Enterprise Rent-A-Car at Seacroft Industrial and Trade Park in east Leeds after agreeing to take a 4,895 sq ft unit on a five-year lease.
The deal, which was brokered by Yorkshire property consultants Dove Haigh Phillips, comes after the park’s private investment fund owners channeled £600k into a comprehensive refurbishment effort which saw 12 units refitted.
Located on Coal Road by the A6120 Leeds Outer Ring Road, the park provides 130,000 sq ft of space spread over 12 units, of which four are still available to let totalling 32,158 sq ft of vacant space.
Following confirmation of the deal, Sarah-Jayne Lishman of Dove Haigh Phillips commented: “This is a significant deal, underlining the considerable investment made in the employment park and its excellent location.
“There is already strong interest in the four remaining refurbished units, which provide excellent industrial and trade counter space.
“This is an important consultancy for us, as it underlines the fact that we are very much involved in the day-to-day commercial property letting market, as well as providing advice and expertise on large-scale developments.”
