Used car concept to create jobs in Sowerby Bridge following £150k investment
A used car store is set to create six jobs with its launch in West Yorkshire next month.
Opening in Sowerby Bridge following months of preparation and an investment of more than £150k, The Car Spot will aim to give customers a new way of selling their motor.
The company’s service includes preparing, advertising and selling a car within 60 days for a flat fee.
Further, The Car Spot said it will offer to purchase a customer’s car if it fails to sell within the two-month period.
The firm’s concept includes a similar approach on the buying side. A ‘CarFinder’ tool will allow customers with specific requirements to have The Car Spot’s advisors source a vehicle for them.
Customers will also have the option of buying a car online and getting it delivered either to their home or workplace.
David Hobin, managing director at The Car Spot said: “In the past few years, the car market has changed. The customer is no longer willing to settle for poor service or choice.
“So, we wanted to launch a business which is truly focused on an individual’s needs.”
He continued: “We also bring a human element to buying and selling cars. Online car buying is on the up, but we think it’s important to offer a personable service alongside that.
“From the moment a customer enquires, they’ll be able to speak to and get guidance from one of our advisors, whether it’s over the phone, email, SMS, or on social media.”
The Car Spot will open its doors on Rochdale Road at the end of August.
