Bathroom retailer increases workforce after investing £200k in first North West showroom

Easy Bathrooms, the Leeds-headquartered bathroom and tile supplier, has invested £200k in the launch of its first showroom in the North West.

The 10,000 sq ft retail premises in Chester opened on 17th July and is the company’s 13th base nationwide.

The launch added six full-time employees to its 70-strong workforce.

Six months of planning and renovations have gone into creating the showroom, which has over 100 tile and bathroom displays on offer.

The new store is the latest in a string of recent expansions, with the firm opening a 12,000 sq ft flagship showroom and 110,000 sq ft warehouse in Birstall, Leeds, just three months ago.

Neil Bell, head of retail for Easy Bathrooms said: “We have ambitious growth plans to become a truly national brand. Our other stores are predominantly based in Yorkshire and the West Midlands, so Chester is a key location for us.

“We are confident that with the trusted management team in place, we can uphold our great service levels for new customers within this area.”

Clients will be able to work with staff to design their own bathroom, for free, using the firm’s ArtiCAD 3D system.

Neil added: “We are continually looking at new ways to improve the customer experience and our design service helps us to achieve that.”

Launched in 2012 on Royds Lane, Leeds, Easy Bathrooms operates out of further retail spaces located in Sheffield, Huddersfield, Wakefield and Doncaster.
