Designs for new Blyth homes revealed
The designs for 42 new homes, to be built in Blyth, have been revealed by the developer – Linden Homes North East.
They include two to four bedroomed family homes and a two bedroomed bungalow. North Farm, as the new development will be known, represents a £9 million investment and the first properties are expected to be released for sale later in the summer.
Site preparation on the disused farmstead, in the Newsham area of the town, is complete and construction of the show home – the four bedroomed Sandsend - has just begun.
Tracy Iles, Sales Director, said: “The traditional brick and tile designs will sit comfortably in the surroundings however, internally these homes will offer a more contemporary look which will meet the needs and aspirations of modern families.
“We are delighted to be building in Blyth for the first time on a range of new homes that will offer a step change in the choice and quality of housing in the area.
“This project will also open up job and training opportunities in the area and provide work for suppliers to the construction industry. As we become an established name in the region we have ambitious plans to deliver 300 new homes on seven sites across the North East over the coming year.”
