ATZ Developments complete acquisition of former mill complex in Batley
ATZ Developments, the property development company, has completed the purchase of a 60,000sq ft multi-let mill complex in Batley, West Yorkshire.
Hickwell Mills, which comprises 16 units and is currently let to a total of eight tenants, was sold to ATZ developments by property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall.
Jonathon White, industrial agent at Sanderson Weatherall said, “We are delighted to have secured this site for ATZ Developments and the sale for the vendors.
“The site is a great acquisition for ATZ with the individual units currently producing circa £57k per annum providing a strong return on their investment.
“With tenancy agreements expiring throughout 2018 and 2019 the site provides ATZ with a number of excellent management opportunities, as well as the option to explore the redevelopment potential of the site, subject to necessary consents.
“We experienced good levels of interest for the unit as demand for income producing assets across the region remains strong with relatively few opportunities currently coming to the market.”
