Sky Betting & Gaming set to welcome 32 new graduate employees
Sky Betting & Gaming has announced that 32 new recruits will be joining its Graduate Academy next week, with over half of the intake coming from Yorkshire universities.
The Leeds-based independent online gambling firm has attracted graduates from key digital hubs including Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and Nottingham.
This takes the total number of graduates now employed by SB&G since it became an independent company just over two years ago to 75, with the scheme attracting a record 4,788 applicants UK-wide.
Matt Hughan, Sky Betting & Gaming’s Head of recruitment, said: “As ever, we’re excited for the next round of future talent to come and join us and we’re proud the scheme is drawing fresh interest from Yorkshire universities, across the North and further afield.
“Our successful candidates represent 18 different universities this year and whilst we remain committed to developing opportunities for home-grown graduates with over half of our intake coming local universities, helping to develop the reputation of Leeds and Sheffield as destinations of choice for early careers is a real positive.”
