National contracts deliver growth for green display firm I Want Plants
Plant design and display company I Want Plants is expanding its team after securing contracts with a number of national clients earlier this year.
The family-run firm is adding a new administration assistant and exterior maintenance technician to its 25-strong team in Hale, to assist with servicing contracts across the North West and Midlands.
In April, I Want Plants signed a two-year deal with office giant Bruntwood to supply and maintain plants and green areas across 57 of its UK shared office sites.
This includes Bruntwood’s £8m Neo development in Manchester, where it created an open-air roof garden.
The company has also provided its horticultural display services for leisure operator Living Ventures’ Alchemist venue at MediaCityUK and Grand Pacific restaurant on Spring Gardens.
Director Richard Rowlands said: “We are seeing growth in all areas of our business – pun intended – from rental plants for offices to more creative projects for brands like UK Fast and The Alchemist in MediaCity.
“We are also working in new areas for us such as Leeds and Birmingham.”
