Manchester’s Universal Square Business Centre now 65% let
The Universal Square Business Centre (USBC) in Ardwick, Manchester, is rapidly filling up just six months after it launched.
The four-storey facility is now 65% let, with 35 businesses signing up for office space at the 15,000 sq ft scheme.
Located 1.5km from Manchester city centre, USBC was opened in March by real estate developer and investor MCR Property Group following a refurb.
The development comprises 69 serviced offices along with co-working space, hot desks and meeting rooms.
Among the new residents at USBC are construction services giant Carillion, law firm RMB Solicitors and chartered surveyors firm Stannybrook Property Consultants.
MCR Property Group asset manager Chris Taylor said: “It’s great to see small businesses taking advantage of the space at Universal Square so soon after its launch.
“We expect Universal Square to be at full occupancy by the end of the year, and plan to roll the concept out across other MCR Property Group buildings across the UK.”
