Leeds language communications firm wins new public sector contract in Northern Ireland

thebigword, the Leeds-based language services provider, has won a new contract to supply telephone interpreting services to public sector organisations in Northern Ireland.

Among the public sector organisations on the framework are the Northern Ireland Civil Service, Education Authority and Northern Ireland Health and Social Care.

The framework will run for the next two years with the possibility of an additional one year extension.

thebigword already holds a range of contracts for translation and interpreting services with public sector organisations across the UK, including the £120m agreement with the Ministry of Justice.
