Manchester City launch new ‘behind-the-scenes’ fan experience
Manchester City have announced the launch of a new fan experience at their City Football Academy.
The club’s new First Team Experience Tour will give fans an insight into the inner workings of the facility and how players train and prepare for matches.
Fans will be guided through the players’ changing rooms, boot room, gym areas, pitches, private lounge and ‘analysis theatre’, where tactics and gameplay are discussed.
Les ‘Chappy’ Chapman, MCFC’s former kit manager, will host the three-hour tour on select dates during the 2017/18 season.
A club spokesperson said of the experience: “Manchester City has always prided itself on allowing fans to get closer to the club they love.
“Whether it’s behind-the-scenes content like CityTV’s Inside City and Tunnel Cam, or in person with Family Fun Days in the indoor pitch before games for kids, there is something for everyone.”
