Manchester and Durham based recruitment business Start People Ltd are closing in on an outstanding third year of business. Since its opening in 2015, the firm have specialised in three diverse and progressive sectors – Automotive, Engineering and FMCG, all of which have pushed the business forward in terms of growth and revenue.
Importantly, 2017 is proving to be an exceptional year for the Automotive division. From the beginning, the firm have invested a huge amount of capital into specialist recruitment and systems to ensure the best possible service is available 24/7 to their most valuable clients. With increasing demand over the past 12 months and a desire to not just fulfil but exceed expectations, Start People expect to end 2017 with an impressive £6m turnover from the Automotive division alone. Whilst demand for Automotive business grows as does the demand to grow the team and support the function in its success – something the business have fulfilled this year with the addition of five new team members.
In conjunction with the firm’s Automotive success, Start People’s FMCG division introduced at the beginning of the year continues to drive sales and exceed targets. New to the industry, the team have been busy building strong client relationships making solid foundations for some extraordinary results towards the end of the year. Start People’s largest fee came this month with the placement of a Senior Mechanical Engineer at a leading food manufacturing business in Peterborough. Bringing such success forward into 2018, the business have committed to significant investment to the FMCG team in the year to come. With such success, Start People aim to achieve continued growth into 2018 creating more jobs in both their Manchester and Durham locations. The role of the recruitment consultant is fast-paced, demanding and diverse - no two days are ever the same. Thorough training in all aspects of the recruitment sector, processes, and skills to succeed is part of the induction at Start People that has enabled the business to grow substantially and quickly over the past 12 months.
