Jet Aire completes key industry qualification
Leeds-based drainage company, Jet Aire Services, has secured another key industry qualification with the completion of its OHSAS 18001 certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management.
OHSAS 18001 is an international standard which sets out the requirements for occupational health and safety management good practice for any size of organisation. It provides guidance for designing and implementing the best possible working conditions and enables certified suppliers to demonstrate compliance with legal, industry and customer requirements.
Jet Aire director, Darren Pavan, said:
“Establishing a health and safety framework to the highest standards is a vital aspect of service in the drainage industry. Identifying hazards and applying rigorous controls to manage them has been an integral part of Jet Aire’s operation for three decades. There is no place for cutting corners in the type of environments we maintain and service, which include sites which are subject to Control of Major Accident Hazards Regulations.”

Jet Aire Services utilise a wide range of methods to rectify any drainage or structural problem. Drainage services include CCTV surveys, high-pressure water jetting, drain/sewer cleansing and clearance, tankering and waste disposal. Its remediation capability includes CIPP patching/lining, UV lining, infiltration sealing, robotic cutting, root cutting and epoxy spray Ultracoating. The company also has aspecialist groundworks and landscaping division.
