76,000 sq ft Widnes warehouse comes to market following summer refurb
A 76,000 sq ft warehouse in Widnes is coming to market after undergoing a refurbishment.
Towngate PLC, the West Yorkshire-based commercial lettings firm and landlord of the Towngate Business Centre, is set to launch the site’s renovated Unit 1.
Work on the Everite Road facility started in early summer and involved external recladding, repainting, the installation of a new roof and internal aesthetic improvements.
Towngate will hold a launch event for industrial agents this Thursday (November 16).
Robert Smith, managing director of Towngate, said of the makeover: “We are delighted with the final outcome of the refurbishment. It has taken a lot of work but the estate now has a modern look and feel and Unit 1 is ready to accommodate a new tenant.
“It’s a promising sign that we have had some notable interest in the space so soon after completion, with some viewings having already taken place.”
Towngate Business Centre is fully let aside from Unit 1 and the 16,900 sq ft Unit 6B.
Robert continued: “The property would make an ideal home for a storage and distribution, manufacturing or transportation and logistics occupant. The possibilities for the space are endless, so we’re excited to showcase it to interested parties at the opening event later this month.”
